Natural is a much overused word in our society today. We at änders natural soap company strive to use natural products wherever possible. We use only vegetable oils (olive, palm, and coconut) as a base in all of our soaps. Most natural soap companies do not use olive oil due to its high cost. We use 60% olive oil in our mix. We use no animal products, nor do we test our products on any animals. The majority of our soaps contain only essential oils; however, some of our soaps (due to customer's requests) contain fragrance oils. The essential oil based soaps are listed under bath and body products as "Natural Soaps" and those with fragrance oil are listed as "Fragrance Soaps". We use no synthetic dyes, only a natural mineral in several of our soaps to achieve a color. All the remaining soaps have no colorant at all, except the natural color resulting from their individual natural ingredients. We only use rosemary oil extract as a natural vegetable based preservative. All of our products are biodegradable. We use the "cold process" method of manufacturing our soap. In this process all of the natural glycerin is retained. Glycerin is a component that is so rich that in commercially made soaps, the glycerin is extracted and sold to cosmetic companies for lotions and other skin products. Our packaging is very simple. We wrap our soaps in recycled craft paper to hold in the essential oil scents. Some soap makers will only band their soaps, leaving the soap exposed, and causing the scent to dissipate over time. Our promise to you the customer is to remain as environmentally conscience tomorrow as we are today.
health:
We are all sensitive to what we put into our bodies, but we should be equally concerned about what we put on our bodies. The skin is the largest organ of our body, and will absorb that which we apply to it. It was proven in a lab test that when a tincture of garlic oil was applied to the back of the hand, within one hour the test subject could taste the garlic in their mouth. This absorptive quality of our skin makes it all the more important that we put only natural ingredients onto our skin. All of our products are very good for your skin, and in all of our years in business, we have not received a single complaint. Our lotions contain Jojoba Oil that when applied to the skin takes on the skin's natural pH. All of our soaps contain pure olive oil. Olive oil is one of the most nourishing ingredients that we use in our manufacturing process.
the future:
We at änders natural soap company know that we are all responsible for the health of our planet, and individually responsible for our own general overall health. With this mindset, we intend in the near future to expand our product base to include more bath and body products, and also a comprehensive line of all natural facial products: (day creams, night creams, serums, and masks). We, as a company take our commitment to adhere to good sound environmental principals very seriously. We know that this is imperative for our generation's future and generations to come. We hope that you "our customers" possess this same ethic.
